MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Tur Lemon variety of Burma origin widened losses during mid session trade at Mumbai pulses market on Friday amid sluggish millers trade activity at higher rates as demand and sale counters in processed Tur were still limited from wholesale/retail counter as they were purchasing as per requirement due to cash crunch.
Rain in some centers of Maharashtra have dampened the sentiments as rainfall is considered beneficial for Tur standing crop.
Small millers/traders were active to liquidate at every rise due to government policy and also kept a close watch on Monsoon forecast and progress.
Tur lemon variety of Burma origin fell further by Rs 25 at Rs 5,375-5,400/100Kg.
