Coriander, Jeera Sowing Up In Gujarat

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Cumin/jeera has been sown in 2,77,017 hectares till December 9 in Gujarat in the current 2019-20 rabi season, up 3 percent from 2,68,368 hectares in the same period last year, according to the data of the state agriculture department.

While, coriander/dhania sowing has seen a jump of around 95 percent. As of December 9, coriander acreage in the state was at 47,027 hectares as compared to 24,033 hectares over the year-ago period.
