MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Burma-origin along with selected origin Rajma and Kabuli Chickpea variety slipped at Naya bazaar pulses market of Delhi, on Wednesday. On the other hand, masoor and moong prices moved higher on fresh local millers buying activity at lower rates.

However, the demand and sale counters in processed pulses reported lukewarm participation.

Burma Urad SQ variety widened losses by Rs 100/100Kg due to slack local buying, dull offtake in processed Urad, fresh supply from overseas at Chennai and weak cues from Chennai/Mumbai markets. Buyers have been cautious in ready trade, tracking weak prices in forward deals, in Chennai and fresh supply from Burma.

On the other hand, Urad SQ variety priced at Rs 7,400/100Kg against next week delivery. Ready stock of Urad SQ variety reported negligible.

Canada and Madhya Pradesh-origin Masoor gained by Rs 25/100 Kgs amid fresh mills buying enquiry at lower rates.

Rajasthan-origin Moong traded higher by Rs 1000/100Kg amid millers' demand at lower rates, negligible supply and lower output.

Selected origin of Rajma and Kabuli Chana were quoted lower in the absence of local buying support.

Chana for March delivery on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), was trading weak by 0.4 percent, or Rs 17 down, at Rs 3,958/100kg. Earlier in the day, the contract hovered in the range of Rs 3,920 and 4,006.

Following are rates (Rs/100Kgs) of various pulses (Imported & Desi) in Delhi today:
