Jeera: Firm in Spot, Dull Futures

Mumbai (commodities Control) - Jeera prices upped Rs 10-15 per 20 kgs due to lower level buying.

Although profit booking was witnessed in futures at higher levels. NCDEX July futures dropped lower by Rs 10 to settle at Rs 13,905 per quintal. Unjha mandi reported arrivals of 20,000 bags of jeera. Rough jeera in Unjha was quoted at Rs 1960-2235 and NCDEX variety was quoted at Rs 2340-2525 per quintal. Rajkot witnessed arrivals of 1000 bags, as Europe quality was quoted at Rs 2605-2665 and Singapore variety was priced at Rs 2494-2565 per 20 kgs. Prices were Rs 10 higher.
