Mumbai (commodities control) - Cotton Prices were steady amid average trading activity. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh reported arrivals of 1500 bales. Meanwhile, Karnataka registered arrivals of 1000 bales. Arrival in both the state was unchanged from the previous day.
30-31 mm cotton in Adilabad and Guntur were quoted at Rs 34,300-36,500 and 29MM variety was priced at Rs 33,300-34,000/candy. 29 mm in Adoni and Bhainsa were quoted at Rs 33,000-33,500 and 29.5+MM was priced steady at Rs 34,000-34,500/candy.
Meanwhile, in Warangal, 29MM cotton was quoted at Rs 33,000-34,500 and 29.5- 30MM was priced at Rs 34,000-34,700/candy.
30 mm cotton in Karnataka was priced at Rs 35,200-35,300 and 29MM was quoted at Rs 34,600-34,800/candy. While DCH traded in the range of Rs 54,000-55,500/candy.
CCI quoted 27-30 mm cotton in Adilabad at Rs 34,700-36,500 and 28-30 mm in Warangal was priced at Rs 35,600-36,500 per candy. CCI’s quote for 28-30 mm, cotton Hubli was at Rs 35,200-36,500 per candy.
