MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Rajasthan-origin Chana traded weak at the Lawrence road market of Delhi on Saturday amid thin mills buying activity and regular supplies.

Mills are purchasing just to satisfy immediate requirements, due to thin demand in chana dal and besan from the consumption centres.

30 truckloads of supply arrived in the markets, similar in the previous session.

Supplies from Madhya Pradesh origin was lower due to disparity.

Rajasthan origin new chana fell by Rs 25 at Rs 5,150/100kg. While, Madhya Pradesh new Chana was unchanged at Rs 5,100.

Nafed has been active at liquidating stocks at prevailing rates, however the agency rejected bids of lower rates.
