Mumbai (Commodities control) – Moong prices traded higher by Rs 100-200/100Kg, as per quality on Wednesday, in major markets of Rajasthan amid mill buying and ongoing arrivals.
On other hand, commodity remained mixed, as per quality at selected markets on limited mills buying.
Demand and sale counters in processed Moong reported slow participation.
Nafed has sold Rabi 2020 procured Moong at Rs 6,300/100Kg in Odisha on 24th November.
Millers were processing average quality moong for government dal tender for PDS distribution.
Millers are interested in purchase of good quality moong for immediate requirement for crushing and polishing.
Arrivals and supplies stocked in godowns, meanwhile, are enough to offset current requirements.
The Directorate General of Foreign trade (DGFT) has allotted quota for import of 1.5 Lakh MTs of moong for the fiscal year 2020-21, until 31st March 2021.
