NEW DELHI (Commodities control) Gaur seed prices eased down today in mandis of Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat. Guar seed fell down due to lower demand from millers. Guar gum prices remained stable as there was thin trade on week end. But Guar Korma inched up Rs. 20 per quintal in higher demand.
Guar seed and gum prices gained on Friday but millers discouraged for buying at higher rates. Mostly mandis have witnessed lower auction prices for guar seed. Farmers bring their crop in mandis which is auctioned in presence of various buyers. Highest auction prices decreased in mostly mandis. However, there was no significant price movement in mill delivery guar seed in Jodhpur and Jaipur. Guar gum also maintain previous price levels in Jodhpur and Jaipur. Overall trade was thin in absence of guidance from NCDEX which was closed on week end.
