Jaipur (Commodities Control) - Spot coriander prices declined in the spice market of Rajasthan on Friday. Cold quality coriander dropped the most, as the variety slipped Rs 100 per Quintal at Ramganj mandi. At Kota mandi, cold quality coriander fell by Rs 50-80 per Quintal.
Lacklustre demand from spice millers weighed on the price sentiments of masala mandis along with arrivals today. Limited purchases were made by spice millers of South India. However, buyers from Maharashtra and Delhi were active in the mandis of Rajasthan on Friday. Badami and Eagle varieties of coriander shed Rs 50 per Quintal. Meanwhile arrivals of Upper grade coriander cooled, as did the prices.
Ramganj mandi of Rajasthan reported arrivals of 2400 bags, Kota mandi-- 1050 bags, Baran mandi- 900 bags and Jaipur mandi--850 bags.
