MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh-origin Chana traded flat at Lawrence road market of Delhi, on Saturday amid limited mill buying activity despite higher supplies.
20 truckloads of supply arrived in the markets, up from 12 truckloads in the previous session.
Demand and sale counter in Chana dal-besan reported thin.
Moreover, sowing is progressing well and was 3.49% higher at 109.14 lakh Ha on Jan 13 Vs 105.46 lakh Ha in the similar period last year.
Nafed is also seeking to sell the Chana stocks.
Also, on-going farmers agitation in Delhi is keeping the overall undertone in markets choppy.
Rajasthan and M.P-origin chana traded flat each, at Rs 4,625/100kg and Rs 4,600, respectively.
