MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Burma Urad slipped by Rs 25-100/100Kg in Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata market on Tuesday, due to dull millers' trade as offtake in processed Urad witnessed thin despite less imported stock.
On other hand, new domestic variety Urad traded higher by Rs 100-200/100Kg, as per quality, at selected markets of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat on mills buying for immediate requirement for crushing. While, pulse fell by Rs 200/100Kg at Kekri market of Rajasthan on slack trade and average quality.
Urad FAQ-SQ varieties moved higher at Burma amid India buying support. Around 30-40 containers of Urad FAQ-SQ varieties been traded for India (Chennai) in the range of $750 and $850 per metric ton on FOB basis.
Nafed has sold Kharif 2018 procured Urad in the range of Rs 5,300-5,500/100Kg in Madhya Pradesh on 18th January, 2021.
Meanwhile, regular arrivals of Urad reported at Kurnool and Ongole Prakasam districts of Andhra Pradesh.
Krishnur district arrivals of new Urad will begin from February end 2021.
