Mumbai, 27 Nov (Commoditiescontrol) – Burma Urad moved higher at Naya bazaar pulses market of Delhi, on Saturday amid mills trade activity despite overseas supplies. While, Canada-Madhya Pradesh Masoor remained weak on slack trade and overseas supplies.
Burma Urad FAQ-SQ varieties traded higher by Rs 75-100 to Rs 7,275-7,300/100Kg and Rs 8,050-8,075, respectively on mills buying support due to crop loss concern in Andhra Pradesh, limited stock, following firm cues from Chennai despite regular imports from Burma and slow offtake in processed Urad.
Madhya Pradesh-Canada origin Masoor dropped each by Rs 25-50 each at Rs 7,600/100Kg and Rs 7,350, respectively as millers refrained to purchase at prevailing rates due to thin offtake in processed Masoor and overseas supplies.
Meanwhile, Nafed is active in buying imported Masoor from private importers. But, cautious trade was reported on fear of government agency may sell procured imported stock at lower rates in future.
