Moong dips in Guj-Raj. barring Jaipur, Rajasthan origin firm in Delhi

Mumbai, 20 Jan (Commoditiescontrol) – Moong prices traded higher, as per quality, at Ahmednagar and Jaipur market due to millers buying activity on immediate requirement for crushing against ongoing arrivals.

However, offtake in processed Moong reported limited.

On other hand, commodity remained weak, as per quality, at Barshi, Veraval, Rajkot, kekri, Kishangarh, Merta and Sri Ganganagar markets on thin trade and ongoing arrivals.

Nafed sold procured summer crop-2021 at Rs 6,735/100Kg in Madhya Pradesh on 19th Jan, 2022.

Rajasthan origin Moong gained by Rs 50 at Rs 4,500-6,750/100Kg, respectively, as per quality, at Naya bazaar pulses market of Delhi.

Vessel M V RISING from Mozambique had discharged 4232 MT till 20th Jan at Mumbai port. Vessel carrying 13,281 MT Mozambique Tur, 601.200 Malawi Tur, 513.625 Mozambique Moong, 3159.206 Mozambique Cowpea.

India government had given extension of restriction-free imports of Moong till June 2022.
