Guntur, January 20 (Commoditiescontrol) Chilli prices were mixed on Thursday amid moderate activities. Prices were steady to firm at Guntur while bearish mood was observed at Warangal.
Fresh crop in the varieties like 355 Byadgi, Syngenta and Armor attracted demand and their prices were quoted higher by Rs 5 to 10 per kilo. DD and 341 were also priced higher.
All varieties whose deluxe qualities were available, quoted firm.
Powder companies were active in seed varieties and Exporters in Teja, Armour, and 355 Byadgi. At, Warangal, there was poor demand while arrivals were higher compared to past few days. Arrivals were 65000 bags at Guntur while Warangal market received10000 bags.
