Muzaffarnagar, January 21 (Commoditiescontrol) Gur prices rose sharply in the market of Muzaffarnagar, a major trading centre in north India, on Friday amid bullish buying. Prices of gur rallied due to demand and supply mismatch. Demand from major consumption centres of north India is seen firm while production is reportedly slow due to severe cold condition.
Arrivals were around 4000 bags of 40kg.
