Guntur, 25 January (CommoditiesControl) Red chilli prices were steady in the major markets of Guntur and Warangal on Tuesday.
There was scarcity of good qualities produce, as all fresh crop arrived in the market was mostly immature.
However, processors were seen active in the market.
At Warangal, Farmers were protesting for fair and remunerative prices for their produce. No regular trade activities were carried out there. Market will remain close for Republic Day celebration tomorrow.
Arrivals today at Guntur market were about 70000 bags
