Coriander prices mixed at spot, futures end firm

Kota 27 January (Commoditiescontrol) Coriander prices were mixed at the spot markets while futures ended lower at local bourse. Coriander prices dropped by Rs 100 to 300 at the Ramganj and Guna mandis in all varieties.

Yesterday was a holiday, that’s why arrivals were in plenty in the physical markets. The selling pressure on the farmers turned down the prices.

However, Kumbhraj market gained Rs 100 in both varieties, as arrivals were limited there compared to demand.

Guna Market had arrivals of 5000 bags and the apex market of Ramganj had arrivals of 10000 bags.

At National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange coriander futures for delivery in April ranged from 10154 to 10398, throughout the day and settled at Rs 10246 per quintal by the end of the day, with a gain of 0.63 % or Rs 64 per quintal.
