Unjha, 19 May (Commoditiescontrol) Cumin seed prices were mixed in the physical markets while futures ended over 1% amid weak sentiment on Thursday. Prices of cumin seed were flat in the benchmark market of Unjha while bearish mood was observed at Rajkot. Prices of Europe and Singapore quality dropped Rs 50 per 20kg while discolor variety held flat in the market of Rajkot today.
Cumin seed futures for delivery in June ended Rs 295 or 1.34% down at Rs 21730 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 21470 and Rs 22000 respectively.
