New Delhi, 23 May (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices were firm in the physical markets and futures as well due to strong demand from exporters.
Guar seed prices gained Rs 50 per quintal while gum prices were quoted Rs 100 per quintal in the spot market.
Guar gum was offered at Rs 11800 per quintal while guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5800 per quintal in auction while it was offered at Rs 6000 per quintal in all paid. Total arrivals were around 11500 quintals today.
Guar gum for delivery in June ended Rs 110 or 0.95% higher at Rs11735 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 11545 and Rs 11750 respectively.
Guar seed for delivery in June ended Rs 55 or 0.92% higher at Rs 6029 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 5940 and Rs 6100 respectively.
