New Delhi, 26 May (Commoditiescontrol) Sugar prices were steady in Delhi on Thursday after a significant fall witnessed previous day. The buying activities improved a bit but most the traders, stockiest, wholesalers and retailers were waiting for the monthly selling quota for June.
Ex-mill rates of sugar in the Uttar Pradesh were at Rs 3430-3520 per quintal while wholesale prices were unchanged at Rs 3670-3770 per quintal. Retail prices also remained steady at Rs 30-40 per kg.
Arrivals in the national capital market were estimated 8000-10000 bags today.
