Jodhpur, June 23 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices traded nearly flat in the spot market and futures also held nearly flat. However, good demand for gum and seed was observed at current rates.
Guar seed for auctions was quoted at Rs 5250 per quintal in the benchmark market of Jodhpur. Total arrivals of guar seed in the country were 7000 bags. Guar seed in all paid was offered at Rs 5460-70 per quintal while guar gum priced at Rs 10400 per quintal. Nearly 1500-16000 bags of guar seed was lifted from the warehouses.
Guar gum for delivery in July on the NCDEX ended Rs 16 down at Rs 10260 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 10151 and Rs 10313 respectively.
Guar seed for delivery in July on the NCDEX ended Rs 8 down at Rs 5491 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 5432 and Rs 5515 respectively.
