Mumbai, 16 Aug (Commoditiescontrol): Prices of Canada-Australia Masoor dropped by Rs 50/100Kg each at Mumbai, Mundra & Hajira tracking weak cues from international markets and cheap supplies from Canada at Kolkata-Mumbai port.
On the other hand, Canada-Australia Masoor gained each by Rs 50/100Kg at select mills purchase despite fresh cheaper supplies from Canada at Kolkata. At Delhi, Canada Masoor eased by Rs 25 at Rs 6,600/100Kg. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh origin Masoor priced unchanged at Rs 7,025/100Kg.
Vessel M V DIVA carrying 13,317.530 MT of Australia Masoor in bulk is expected to arrive at Mumbai port on 18th August, 2022. Vessel M V QUEEN SAPPHIRE carrying about 36961 tonnes of Canada red Masoor arrived at Kolkata Port and started discharging cargo.
Canada crimson variety Masoor is being offered at $737 per ton bulk in the vessel on CNF basis Mundra for Sep-Oct shipment. Canada crimson variety Masoor is being offered at $750 per ton bulk in the container on CNF basis Nhava-Sheva for Oct-Nov shipment. Canada crimson variety Masoor is being offered at $770 per ton bulk in the container on CNF basis Nhava-Sheva for Sep-Oct shipment.
Australia Nugget variety Masoor is being offered at $770 per ton bulk in the container on CNF basis Nhava Sheva for Nov-Dec shipment.
Trend: Prices of Masoor will continue to remain under pressure in anticipation of huge international supply in the next few months. This is evident from forward shipment prices which are quoting at a huge discount to current spot prices.
