Jodhpur, September 28 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices fell in the physical market on Wednesday due to increasing arrivals and bearish cues from futures. Guar seed and gum futures dropped over 2% due to profit-booking.
Guar seed prices fell Rs 100 per quintal while guar gum prices dropped Rs 250 per quintal.
Guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5000 per quintal in all paid. Old and new crop of guar seed was quoted at Rs 3900-4700 per quintal in auction.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 9550 per quintal in the market of Jodhpur.
Guar gum futures for delivery in October on the NCDEX ended Rs 271 or 2.78 % lower at Rs 9460 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 9401 and Rs 9770 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in October ended Rs 103 or 2.05 % down at Rs 4921 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 4883and Rs 5039 respectively.
