Mumbai, 3 OCT (Commoditiescontrol): Prices of Tur extended their decline for the third straight session on Monday, hik by poort quality arrival, which has restricted millers participation. Meanwhile, prices of Chana, Urad and Moong continue to maintain steady tone at Solapur market.
The market yard received two trucks of Tur which was offered in the range of Rs 7,000 - Rs 7,500/100kg, as per quality. Buyers, traders showed less interest of buying Tur. Poor demand of processed Tur also held millers on the sideline.
Moong prices was stable on regular demand for good quality. Traders from south India remain active. Three truckload of Moong with 16/17% moisture contain arrived at the market and were quoting at Rs 6,300 - Rs 7,100/100kg.
Chana quoted stable in the range of Rs 4,300 - Rs 4,950/100kg. Arrival of three trucks was reported.
Prices of new Urad too remained unchanged in the range of Rs 6,900 - Rs 7,500/100kg amid arrivals of five truckloads at the market yard.
