Spot turmeric stay flat, futures firm

Erode, October 3 (Commoditiescontrol) Coriander prices were steady to down in some of the major markets of the country while other markets remained closed on account of Mahashatami on Monday. Most of the markets stayed away while regular arrivals were seen.

Turmeric futures for delivery in October ended Rs 100 or 1.46% higher at Rs 6946 per quintal on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) while low and high of the session were Rs 6812 and Rs 7012 respectively.
