Kochi, October 4 (Commoditiescontrol) Black pepper prices ruled steady in the benchmark market of Kochi on Tuesday amid slow activities. Prices of domestic varieties of black pepper are still much higher than that of imported varieties and large quantities of Vietnamese and Brazilian pepper are available in the major markets of the country. That’s why prices of black pepper are unlikely to see upside movement this festive season. However, good demand from bulk buyers is seen.
