New Delhi, October 6 (Commoditiescontrol) Wheat prices were firm in the major markets of the country on Thursday. However, major markets of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh were closed today. wheat prices rose Rs 15 per quintal in the market of Delhi, a major consumption centre. Mill quality of wheat gained Rs 20 per quintal at Kota. The traders were expecting that wheat prices may rise further on increasing demand.
