Jodhpur, October 21 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices down in the physical markets and futures as well on Friday amid weak sentiment. Prices of guar seed and gum dropped despite decreased arrivals.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 9150 per quintal in the market of Jodhpur. Guar seed was offered at Rs 4600 per quintal for all paid. In auction, guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 4100-4550 per quintal. Arrivals were around 40000 bags today.
Gum prices dropped Rs 50 per quintal while guar seed prices dropped up to Rs 100 per quintal.
Guar gum futures for delivery in Nov ended Rs 79 or 0.86 % down at Rs 9080 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 9025 and Rs 9202 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in Nov ended Rs 27 or 0.58 % down at Rs 4640 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 4615 and Rs 4682 respectively.
