Jodhpur, Nov 1 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices settled firm in the physical markets and the futures as well on Tuesday. The buying activities improved with increasing arrivals of guar seed in the physical markets.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 9100 per quintal in the market of Jodhpur. Guar seed was offered at Rs 4600 per quintal for all paid. In auction, guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 4100-4470 per quintal. Arrivals were around 60000 bags today.
Guar gum futures for delivery in Nov ended Rs 148 or 1.66 % higher at Rs 9050 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 8851 and Rs 9088 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in Nov ended Rs 34 or 0.74 % higher at Rs 4604 per quintal while low and high of the session were Rs 4540 and Rs 4630 respectively.
