Jodhpur, Nov 17 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices dropped in the physical market and the futures as well on Thursday due to profit-booking.
Guar seed prices fell Rs 50 per quintal while gum also declined Rs 50 per quintal in the physical market today.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 11800 per quintal while guar seed was priced at Rs 5700 per quintal in paid. Guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5200-5700 per quintal at auctions. Arrivals were around 44000 bags of 100kg each.
Guar gum futures for delivery in December ended Rs 46 or 0.39% down at Rs 11762 per quintal on the NCDEX while low and high of the session were Rs 11650 and Rs 12090 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in December ended Rs 66or 1.14% down at Rs 5705 per quintal on the NCDEX while low and high of the session were Rs 5622and Rs 5824 respectively.
