Major producing states witness arrival of 97,600 bales of cotton

Mumbai, 26 NOv (Commoditiescontrol): Leading cotton producing states in the country have reported arrival of 97,600 bales of cotton on Saturday as compared to 99,400 bales received on Friday.

Cotton markets of Punjab, Haryana, lower and upper Rajasthan have reported total arrivals of 19,200 bales, while no arrivals reported at Gujarat. Mahrashtra witnessed arrivals of 35,000 bales and 17,000 bales respectively.

Madhya Pradesh reported arrivals of 8,000 bales. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana reported arrivals of 10,000 bales, while mandis in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka witnessed arrival of 100 bales and 8,000 bales, respectively.
