Mumbai, 26 Nov (Commoditiescontrol): Burma Urad along with Madhya Pradesh origin Masoor moved higher at Naya Bazaar market of Delhi on Saturday amid fresh mills trade activity at lower rates.
Burma Urad SQ-FAQ variety gained by Rs 50-75 each at Rs 7,800-7,825/100Kg & Rs 7,000, respectively on fresh mills purchase at lower rates. However, offtake in processed Urad below expectation, cheaper supply from Burma at regular interval and ongoing arrivals of new Kharif domestic variety will restrict gain.
Madhya Pradesh origin Masoor firm by Rs 50 at Rs 6,850/100Kg due to select mills buying on immediate requirement for crushing. While, Canada Masoor ruled unchanged at Rs 6,425 due to thin activity, overseas supply and government agencies actively liquidating imported Masoor stock.
