Guntur, Nov 28 (Commoditiescontrol) Red chilli prices were mostly down in the physical markets of the country amid slow buying on Monday. The export demand from China is expected to remain weak, therefore, exporters are not so active in the markets while local demand for red chilli is also not as much as expected during the winter season, a trade analyst said.
Prices of red chilli were as per the demand for particular variety and tis quality available in the market, he added.
Arrivals were 60000 bags at Guntur and 3000 bags at Warangal. Prices were mostly down in the markets of Warangal while Guntur market witnessed steady to weak tone.
