MUMBAI, Nov 28 (Commoditiescontrol): Burma Urad dropped by Rs 50-200/100Kg at Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai tracking Mynamar falling price, thin mills purchase as offtake in processed Urad below expectation, cheap supply from Burma at regular interval and ongoing arrivals of new Kharif domestic variety.
At Burma, Urad FAQ-SQ variety fell each by $5-$10 to trade at $775 & $890 per metric ton on CNF basis for Mumbai as sellers active. Meanwhile, Today, local currency Kyat flat against the U.S. dollar. It stood at 2900 Kyat/dollar similar during the previous closing.
At Guntur-Vijaywada, Urad polished and unpolished priced lower by Rs 50-75/100kg, respectively following weak trend in Burma Urad.
At Chandausi, new Urad move up by Rs 50 each in both local and bilty trade to quote at Rs 6,700-6,750/100Kg and Rs 7,000, respectively. Arrivals of 500 bags reported. Miller's demand in good quality seen at lower rates.
New Urad gain Rs 100 at Rs 7,200-7,500/100Kg at Rajkot as local millers show interest in purchasing good quality Urad at lower rates. Arrivals of 500 katta reported.
