Jodhpur, Nov 28 (Commoditiescontrol) Guar seed and gum prices settled firm on Monday after recovering from initial falls as weak arrivals of guar seed supported its prices.
Guar seed prices up Rs 100 per quintal while gum also gained Rs 200 per quintal in the physical market today.
Guar gum prices were quoted at Rs 12350 per quintal while guar seed was priced at Rs 5850 per quintal in paid. Guar seed prices were quoted at Rs 5300-5800 per quintal at auctions. Arrivals were around 38000 bags of 100kg each.
Guar gum futures for delivery in December ended Rs 139 or 1.15% up at Rs 12262 per quintal on the NCDEX while low and high of the session were Rs 11820 and Rs 1269 respectively.
Guar seed futures for delivery in December ended Rs 37 or 0.63% higher at Rs 5864 per quintal on the NCDEX while low and high of the session were Rs 5680 and Rs 5870 respectively.
