Guntur, Nov 29 (Commoditiescontrol) Bearish mood continued in red chilli on Tuesday amid slow demand while arrivals increased in the benchmark market of Guntur. Other markets also witnessed subdued demand.
Prices of 334/S10, Teja, No5 , 341 and DD held flat while other varieties of chilli traded Rs 5 per kg down at Guntur. Warangal markets witnessed bearish mood despite arrivals were down. As per the trade sources, the local processors as well as the exports are buying as per their short-term demand as they expect more downsides in the prices of red chill.
