Black pepper prices jump sharply on strong demand

Kochi, December 1 (Commoditiescontrol) Strong demand in the domestic market lifted prices of black pepper for the second consecutive day on Thursday. Prices rose Rs 5 per kg in the benchmark market of Kochi as supply fell short of demand. As per the trade source, the upcountry demand for black pepper is constantly seen these winter days.
