MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol)27 Jan:-Prices of Dhaniya decreased by Rs 300–400 in Guna Market due to poor inflow and quality issues. About 1,500 bags were received at the markets, which is fewer than the day before.
The markets at Kota, Ramganj, and Kumbhraj remained steady while arrivals fluctuate greatly.
Kota reported intake of 150 bags. Ramganj market received 1300 sacks, up from 700 sacks the previous session.
Prices in the Baran market dropped by Rs 100 and 100 bags were added.
Dhaniya stock at the NCDEX accredited warehouses as on January 26 was reported at 1064 MT at (Kota & Gondal) center decrease by 267 MT from the previous day, as per exchange data.

Dhaniya contract for April delivery settled at Rs 7820/quintal showing an fall of Rs -278 over previous close of Rs 8098/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 7812-8182 for the day. Open interest increased by 510 MT to 8115 MT, while trading volume increased by 465 to 2640 MT.
Dhaniya contract for May delivery settled at Rs 7836/quintal showing an fall of Rs -212 over previous close of Rs 8048/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 7836-7968 for the day. Open interest was simillar by 0 MT to 190 MT, while trading volume decreased by -150 to 25 MT.
Currently The spread between April and May contract is 16 Rs/quintal.
