Mumbai, 7 Feb (Commoditiescontrol): Prices of select variety of Africa origin Tur gains at Mumbai pulses market amid mill buying activity. On other hand, Canada Masoor at Hajira-Mundra port slipped down amid slack mill buying activity.
Select variety of Africa origin Tur, such Malawi, Matwara & Mozambique white variety gained each by Rs 50/100Kg on mills buying amid cheaper rates compare to Burma-domestic variety and also negligible supply from Africa. Also, demand for Tur dal was seen because of state supply government tenders.
Canada crimson variety Masoor at Hajira-Mundra port slipped down by Rs 50/100Kg on thin mills trade amid thin offtake in processed Masoor, Govt extends import duty relief till March 2024, the consistent supply from the overseas market, Nafed actively selling imported Masoor, a higher global production estimate, and increased domestic sowing acreage.
