Mumbai, 1 April (Commoditiescontrol): Burma Tur and Urad along with Canada & Madhya Pradesh Masoor price declined during early trade session at Naya Bazaar market of Delhi on Saturday amid millers inactive.
Burmese origin Tur slipped down by Rs 225 at Rs 8,400/100Kg on slack millers buying as millers inactive and also the Government has stepped up its efforts to monitor stock disclosures of pulses. However, sellers were inactive due to higher Myanmar cnf quotes, fewer domestic arrivals, supply shortage from Burma and an increase in landed costs of upcoming shipments. Also, ready stock of Tur was less at Delhi market.
Burma Urad SQ-FAQ variety both old and new dropped each by Rs 75-125/100Kg, respectively due to cautious buyng at higher rates tracking weak cues from Chennai market. However, sellers were less interested due to thin supply from Burma, higher landed costs for importing.
Canada and Madhya Pradesh origin Masoor eased Rs 25 at Rs 6,050/100Kg and Rs 6,250/100Kg on thin mills trade activity and arrivals of new Masoor will gather pace from next week in producing centers.
