Jodhpur, May 20 (Commodities Control): Spot mentha oil prices experienced further declines today due to weak market activities, while future trading remained suspended because of the Lok Sabha elections.
With polling in Mumbai, the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) was closed for trading during the morning session from 9 AM to 5 PM. However, the evening session will be open from 5 PM to 11:30 PM / 11:55 PM.
In Chandausi, mentha oil prices fell by Rs 2, bringing the prices down to Rs 1000-1002 per kg. Similarly, in Barabanki, mentha oil prices also decreased by Rs 2, settling at Rs 968 per kg.
