New Delhi, June 20 (Commoditiescontrol) Menath oil prices were almost flat in the physical market amid improved demand and supply on Thursday while futures were a little lower at the local bourse. Supply of mentha oil is increasing day by day. Meanwhile, some inquires from the export front were witnessed today. However, local demand was weak.
Mentha oil prices stayed steady at Rs 958-960 per kg in the market of Chandausi. Mentha oil prices were also quoted flat at Rs 917 per kg in the market of Barabanki.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in June was Rs 2.8 down at Rs 906.6 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 302 and volume of 137.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in July was Rs 2 down at Rs 918.5 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 307 and volume of 106.
Mentha Oil contract for MAY delivery settled at Rs 904.6/quintal showing an fall of Rs -2.8 over previous close of Rs 907.4/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 902.1-910 for the day. Open interest decreased by -2 MT to 302 MT, while trading volume decreased by -29 to 137 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for JUNE delivery settled at Rs 918.5/quintal showing an fall of Rs -2 over previous close of Rs 920.5/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 918-926 for the day. Open interest increased by 43 MT to 307 MT, while trading volume decreased by -5 to 106 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 928/quintal showing an fall of Rs -5.4 over previous close of Rs 933.4/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 928-934.9 for the day. Open interest increased by 24 MT to 49 MT, while trading volume increased by 6 to 31 MT.
Currently The spread between MAY and JUNE contract is -13.9 Rs/quintal.
Currently The spread between JUNE and JUL contract is -9.5 Rs/quintal.
Currently The spread between MAY and JUL contract is -23.4 Rs/quintal.
