New Delhi, July 10 (Commoditiescontrol) Mentha oil prices rebounded on Wednesday after a drop in last session. Prices of mentha oil were quoted higher in the physical markets tracking strong demand and firm cues from the futures. As per the trade sources, mentha oil has attracted good demand from the overseas market and the local industry as well.
Mentha oil prices were quoted Rs 3 up at Rs 998-1000 per kg in the market of Chandausi. Mentha oil prices were also quoted Rs 10 up at Rs 955 per kg in the market of Barabanki today.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in July was Rs 12.2 down at Rs 977 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 614 and volume of 287.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in Aug was Rs 11.9 down at Rs 990 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 185 and volume of 26.
Mentha Oil contract for JUL delivery settled at Rs 977/quintal showing an rise of Rs 12.2 over previous close of Rs 964.8/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 964.5-977.8 for the day. Open interest increased by 19 MT to 614 MT, while trading volume decreased by -29 to 287 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for AUG delivery settled at Rs 990/quintal showing an rise of Rs 11.9 over previous close of Rs 978.1/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 980-991.2 for the day. Open interest increased by 8 MT to 185 MT, while trading volume decreased by -9 to 26 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for SEP delivery settled at Rs 994.6/quintal showing an fall of Rs -15 over previous close of Rs 994.6/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 990-1000 for the day. Open interest was simillar by 0 MT to 28 MT, while trading volume decreased by -5 to 0 MT.
Currently The spread between JUL and AUG contract is -13 Rs/quintal.
