Ahmedabad, July 13 (CommoditiesControl): The coriander market in Gujarat showed little activity today, with prices remaining stable. Traders report that the futures market is closed and the off-season has led to a sluggish spot market. Daily arrivals of coriander are averaging between 7,000 and 7,500 bags. Currently, there is no anticipated increase in coriander prices, but a rise in demand during the festive season could provide market support.
Today, Saurashtra saw an arrival of about 7,600 bags of coriander, with the average price in the state recorded at Rs 1,300-1,500 per 20 kg.
In Gondal Mandi, 4,000 bags of coriander, each weighing 40 kg, were traded at Rs 1,341-1,631 per 20 kg. In Rajkot Mandi, 500 bags were received and traded at Rs 1,100-1,350 per 20 kg. Additionally, Jamjodhpur Mandi received 600 bags, Junagadh Mandi 950 bags, Jetpur Mandi 250 bags, and around 1,300 bags arrived at other Mandis.
