Ahmedabad, July 13 (CommoditiesControl): Gujarat's cumin market experienced a downward trend today, with prices falling by Rs 80-100 per 20 kg. Despite a significant reduction in arrivals, totaling less than 10,000 bags in the state, prices are declining due to low demand. Market fluctuations are largely influenced by China's crop; if China offers lower export prices, there could be an increase in market activity.

Today, around 6,000 bags of cumin arrived at the Unjha market, where rough cumin was priced at Rs 4,500-4,700 per 20 kg, the best quality at Rs 4,900-5,000 per 20 kg, and Bombay bold at Rs 5,000-5,100 per 20 kg. The total arrival in the state was approximately 9,000 bags.

In Gondal Mandi, 354 bags of cumin were traded at Rs 4,931-5,191 per 20 kg, while in Rajkot Mandi, 450 bags were received with prices ranging from Rs 4,400-5,104 per 20 kg.
