Clove Prices Remain Stable Across Key Markets

Mumbai, July 18 (CommoditiesControl): Clove prices in Kottayam have remained stable over the past month. The price per kilogram for different origins is as follows: Sri Lankan cloves are priced at Rs 900-930, Madagascar cloves at Rs 910-930, and Comoros cloves at Rs 890-920. Domestic cloves in Kottayam range between Rs 1,020-1,040 per kilogram.

In Shimoga, clove prices have also been stable, ranging from Rs 1,040-1,060 per kilogram for the past 18-20 sessions. Clove stems in Kottayam are priced at Rs 130 per kilogram, unchanged from the previous session.

Prices are expected to rise in the coming days as imports decline, which may tighten supply and push prices higher.
