Cotton Arrivals of 11,000 Bales Noted in Major Producing States

New Delhi, August 5 (Commodities Control): Cotton arrivals in mandis across the country on Monday totaled 11,000 bales, compared to 10,700 bales on the previous working day.

In Punjab, Haryana, and Upper & Lower Rajasthan, 100 bales of cotton arrived. Gujarat reported 2,300 bales, while Maharashtra saw 5,000 bales. There were no arrivals in Madhya Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together accounted for 1,100 bales. Tamil Nadu received 2,000 bales, and Karnataka saw 500 bales. Odisha had no arrivals.
