Jaipur, Sep 9 (Commoditiescontrol) Mustard complex continued its bullish trend on Monday amid strong buying activities as festive season is going on. As per the traders, the consuption of mustard oil usually remains high during Dussehra and Diwali festivals. Ahead of these festivals demand for mustard oil has increased from north and eastern parts of the country.
Prices of mustard seed with 42% conditioned rose Rs 50 to Rs 6500-6475 per quintal (excluding GST), in the benchmark market of Jaipur.
Mustard oil expeller prices were Rs 13 up at Rs 1278-1279 per 10kg. Kachchi Ghani prices also gained Rs 13 to 1288-1289 per 10kg. Mustard cake prices were Rs 15 higher at Rs 2700-2705 per quintal in Jaipur.
Prices of mustard seed gained Rs 25 to Rs 6250-6300 per quintal in Delhi and mustard oil expeller gained Rs 15 to Rs 1255 per 10kg.
In Charkhi Dadri, prices of mustard seed rose Rs 50 to Rs 6225-6275 per quintal and mustard oil expeller traded Rs 15 higher at Rs 1240 per 10kg. Cake prices also rose Rs 15 to Rs 2665 per quintal in Charkhi Dadri.
Total arrivals of mustard seed were around 3 lakh bags across the country.
Arrivals of mustard seed were 1.5 lakh bags in Rajasthan, 25,000 bags in Madhya Pradesh, 45,000 bags in Uttar Pradesh, 15,000 bags in Punjab and Haryana and 15,000 bags in Gujarat. Arrivals were 50,000 bags in the other major markets of the country.
At Kandla port, CPO prices were flat at Rs 954 per 10kg and RBD palmolein prices were Rs 10 down Rs 980 per 10 kg. Soyoil refine prices were flat at Rs 975 per 10 kg. Degum prices gained Rs 2 to Rs 890 per 10 kg. Sunflower refine oil was flat at Rs 990 per 10 kg.
