New Delhi, September 10 (Commoditiescontrol): Mentha oil prices fell further on Tuesday amid weak buying activities in the physical market. Futures also extended falls amid negative mood as demand for mentha oil is weak from the local buyers and the exporters as well.
Mentha oil prices were Rs 6 down at Rs 1005-1007 per kg in the market of Chandausi. Mentha oil prices were quoted Rs 3 down at Rs 962 per kg in the market of Barabanki.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in Sep was Rs 5.5 down at Rs 947.40 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 604 and volume of 177.
Mentha oil future contract for delivery in October was Rs 11.70 down at Rs 962 per kg at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) with open interest of 274 and volume of 75.
Mentha Oil contract for SEP delivery settled at Rs 947.4/quintal showing an fall of Rs -5.5 over previous close of Rs 952.9/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 943.3-953 for the day. Open interest decreased by -3 MT to 604 MT, while trading volume increased by 16 to 177 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for OCT delivery settled at Rs 962/quintal showing an fall of Rs -11.7 over previous close of Rs 973.7/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 961.6-970 for the day. Open interest increased by 20 MT to 274 MT, while trading volume increased by 55 to 75 MT.
Mentha Oil contract for NOV delivery settled at Rs 976.3/quintal showing an fall of Rs -11.9 over previous close of Rs 988.2/quintal,The contract moved in the range of Rs 976.3-976.3 for the day. Open interest increased by 1 MT to 36 MT, while trading volume decreased by -14 to 1 MT.
