Argentina Expands Soy Acreage by 7.5%, Corn Harvest Projected at 51-52 Million Tons

Mumbai, 12 Sep (Commoditiescontrol):Argentina is poised for significant agricultural expansion this season, with soy planting expected to increase by 7.5%, reaching 17.3 million hectares, reports the Rosario grains exchange. The exchange, in its recent Wednesday release, also forecasts the 2024/25 corn production to range between 51 and 52 million metric tons.
